Overview. Certain people may be eligible to remain at home although they could also be eligible for nursing home care. Individuals must be determined clinically eligible for nursing home level of care. Individuals must be 65 or over; or between 21 and 64 and determined disabled by SSA or the Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services, Disability Review Section and be eligible for Medicare or have other health insurance.
