There may be a time when a need comes that requires you to move from one type of home to another. Then you may need emotional support in making new friends and getting established. • Adult Daily Living Skill

ADL ’s are assessed by a VNA or community health nurse. Involves performing routine daily tasks and compiling the assets and debits of adult functioning and scoring them.

• Adjusting Medical Care.

Once ADL ’s are scored and deficiencies noted look at the compensatory relief that’s possible. Agencies may come in to assist in a task thereby raising score.

• Communicating Needs.

Run a test on the reliability of the agency to show up. If not, and you’re at health risk the nurse may decide to admit you until danger is past.
